Funeral Services for Hilton Leo White "Pop" (76) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at Brandy Branch Baptist Church (1906 Brandy Branch Church Place, Bryceville, Florida) with Pastor Rusty Bryan and Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery with Matt White, Morgan Stokes, Connie White, Ned Lunn, Ronnie Lunn, Eugene White, Mitchell Reeves and Trenton Braddock serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers include: Harold Watts, David Hunt, Clethan Johns, Virgil White, Maitland Dampier, Roy Braddock, Everette Davis and Marvin Stokes. Mr. White was born September 10, 1932 in Waycross, Georgia, son of the late Lewis Vernon White and the former Mamie Louise Brooker. He passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on August 6, 2009 following a brief illness. Mr. White was retired from the Anheuser-Busch company and was an active member of Brandy Branch Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 56 years, Frances White, he is survived by: Son, Marvin (Candy) White; Three Daughters, Cindy (Tony) Perez, Bonnie (Daryl) Price and June (Randy) Braddock; Five Granddaughters, Heidi (Daniel) Gonzalez, Wendi (Red) Miller, Melanie White, Faith Braddock and Alyssa Perez; Four Grandsons, Matt White, Trenton Braddock, Zane Price and Marc Perez; Two Great Grandsons, D.J. Gonzalez and Christopher Rue; Great Granddaughter, Abbi Rue; Sister, Helen (Ronnie) Williams; Brother, Red (Evelyn) White; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home on Sunday, August, 9, 2009.
