Biography
Funeral services for Heyward R. Minor (79) of Hilliard, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Gray Gables with Rev. Keith Lloyd officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Bethel Cemetery, Hilliard, FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Minor was born on September 29, 1931 in Aiken, GA and passed away on March 25, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is survived by: three daughters, Muriel (Danny) Hodges, Alice (Elton) Hodges and Jane (Bill) Reeves; son, Richard (Janie) Musgrove; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Minor in 2004. Those serving as pallbearers include: Kevin Privett, Bruce Musgrove, Josh Musgrove, J.J. Hodges, Chad Seeley, Donnie Conner and Joel Combs.
