KIRKLAND – Funeral services for Harry H. Kirkland (78) of Baldwin, FL will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 30, 2007 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Brother Charles Bundy and Brother Ernie Nixon officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, FL. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the funeral home. Mr. Kirkland was born February 7, 1929 the son of the late James Corbett Kirkland and the former Olla Mae Johnson. He passed away November 26, 2007 following a lengthy illness. He is survived by: Four Sons, Harry (Lily Ann), Elwood (Melitta), Charles (Denise) and Mark (Missey) Kirkland; Daughter, Donna (Terrell) Padgett; Two Sisters, Ethel Cantebury and Sherry Hice; Brother, Gary (Roberta) Kirkland; Uncle, Ealie (Inez) Johnson; Fifteen Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Lucille Pringle Kirkland. Serving as pallbearers: Jonathan Kirkland, Justin Kirkland, Michael Kirkland, Kevin Kirkland, Jason Kirkland, Christopher Kirkland and Shane Padgett. Mr. Kirkland was retired from CSX after 38 years of service.
