BROWNING Veteran of U.S. Army – Funeral services for Harry Lee "Buddy" Browning (78) of Ormond Beach, FL will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Maxville with Rev. Richard Fish and Rev. Mike Hamm officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Long Branch Cemetery, Maxville, Florida. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Friday, June 1, 2007 at the funeral home. Mr. Browning was born September 15, 1929 in Jasper, Florida, the son of the late M. Chester Browning and the former Rosa Inell Sutton. He passed away May 30, 2007 in his home following a lengthy illness. Buddy retired as area manager with Flav-O-Rich, Inc., after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Maxville, Florida volunteer fire department and served as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Maxville for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, church activities and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Browning, he is survived by: Daughter, Terri (Chris) Walls of Ormond Beach, FL; Brother, Kermit (Janet) Browning of Tifton, GA; Two Sisters, Inell (T.M.) Daniels of Valdosta, GA and Vivian Browning of Vilano Beach, FL; Four Grandchildren, Gary Walls, Christopher Walls, Kayleigh Walls and Jennifer Ratcliff of Ormond Beach, FL; Two Great Grandchildren, Alexis and Kylie Ratcliff; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to hospice or the First Baptist Church of Maxville building fund.
