Funeral services for Gracie Vaughn Waits (10) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Dinsmore Baptist Church with Pastor Winson Butler officiating. The interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. Gracie was born on February 10, 2000 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of Matthew Tyler Waits and the former Ann Marie Allen. She passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to her parents, she is survived by: three brothers, Chase, Slade and Cage Waits; Grandparents, Peggy (Lee) Vallard and Phyllis (Harry) Kelley; numerous family and friends. Those serving as pallbearers include: Randall Yarbrough, Raymond Petty, Sean Tulp, Steve Allen, Scott Sheppard and Wesley Hygema. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.

To see her smile, makes you feel warm inside.
To feel her touch, makes life seem so much easier.
To hear her voice and laughter, can make a grizzly bear into a teddy bear.
But to look into her big beautiful eyes, should you really look, made all the difference.
Her eyes can show you how she felt, whether it be from happy to angry.
Her eyes can sing you a song of sorrow or joy.
Her eyes could tell you a story of the greatest things to come.
But most of all, to those who knew her, Gracie's eyes could show you how big her heart was and how she loved everyone.
And as her prize, she wins a cozy spot in Heaven.
