Funeral services for Glen Green (55) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Old Plank Road Baptist Church (8964 Old Plank Road) with Bro. Larry McGinley officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Glen was born May 13, 1954, son of the late Floyd Bernard Green and the former Erma Lee Bennett. He passed away October 5, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. Survivors include: two sisters, Carol Green and LeeAnne (Ron) Montgomery; nephew Joey (Chrissy) Montgomery; great niece Hailey Montgomery; two great nephews Gavin Montgomery and Jake Montgomery. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by nephew, Bubba Montgomery. Those serving as pallbearers include: Doyle Carter, Howard Stalvey, David Simmons, Craig Little, Stafford Freeman, and Ronald Montgomery. Joey Montgomery will serve as honorary pallbearer. Glen will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity to others.
