Memorial services for Glen Lonnie Brewer (62) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with pastor Chris Drum officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Brewer was born on July 27, 1949 in St. Joseph, Missouri, son of the late George Bluford Brewer and the former Violet Ruby Shultz. He passed away on May 20, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. He will be remembered as a loving, faithful, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a heart of gold, loved the outdoors and always was a friend to animals. Riding motorcycles was his joy. In addition to his wife of 37 years, Annette Lewis Brewer, survivors include: daughter, Diana Marie Waldrop; three granddaughters, Jessica, Joanna and Jenna Waldrop; brother, James Michael Brewer; numerous extended family and friends.
