Biography
SHEPHERD – Funeral services for Gary G. Shepherd (50) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home, 105 U.S. Hwy 90 West, Baldwin, Florida with Rev. Buddy Francis of North Jacksonville Baptist Church officiating. A private interment will be held in Liberty Cemetery, Hazelhurst, Georgia. The family will receive friends I hour prior to service at the funeral home. Gary was born October 19, 1956 in Jeff Davis County Georgia. He was the son of the late Charlie Eugene Shepherd and the former Avie Lee Foskey-Shepherd, and passed away peacefully June 26, 2007 following a lengthy illness. He leaves behind his sister and brother-in-law Betty and Ronnie Gonzalez of Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
