Funeral services for Gary Edgar Dover (59) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Brandy Branch Church with Pastor Rusty Bryan officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mr. Dover was born January 3, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia, son of the late Walter Edgar Dover and the former Lillian Marie Carns. He passed away on March 27, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. In addition to his wife of 27 years, Jessie Mae Dover, he is survived by: two daughters, Michelle Rozier and Lilly Dover; grandson, C.J. Blake; brother, Ricky Kinsey, sister, Camie Britt; step-father, Winfred Conner; numerous family and friends. Those serving as pallbearers include: Carroll Rozier, Derek Rozier, Chris Hughes, Corey Blake, Casey Taylor, Doug Atkins, Sr., Darren Gregory and Doug Atkins, Jr. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
