Gary Burnopp

BURNOPP - Memorial services for MCPON Ret. Gary Wayne Burnopp (74) of Kingsland, Georgia will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Burnopp was born on July 4, 1938 in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of the late Paul Preston Burnopp and the former Laura Lillian Hurt. He passed away on December 25, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. In addition to his wife, Delores Ann Lewis Burnopp, survivors include: son, Gary W. Burnopp, II; three daughters, Ashleigh (Jon) Gregory, Yonnie Morgan and Teresa (Lowell) Andre; sister, Gail Berry; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. The interment will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia with full military honors.
