Graveside services for Freddie Thomas Stringer Sr. (74) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 22, 2015 in Brandy Branch Cemetery with Billy Hadden officiating. Mr. Stringer was born on May 16, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late Thomas Stringer and the former Florence Scott. He passed away on December 18, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. In addition to his wife of 55 years, Diane Stringer, he is survived by: three sons, Freddie (Stephanie) Thomas Stringer Jr., Robert (Gina) Craig Stringer, Michael Anthony Stringer; daughter, Kimberly (Daryl) Stringer Miller; brother, Robert (Susan) Scott; sister, Marlene (Bill) Scott Blair; grandchildren, Thomas Stringer III, Michael Stringer, Alyssa Stringer, Alexis Nicole Young, Max Stringer, Alexandria Stringer, Christopher Miller; numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. The family asked that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
