Elmer Fouraker

Funeral services for Elmer Ray Fouraker (83) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Brandy Branch Baptist Church with Pastor Rusty Bryan and Bro. Travis Smith officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery. Mr. Fouraker was born on September 26, 1930 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late Clyde Elias Fouraker and the former Dotha Viola Higginbotham. He passed away on August 22, 2014 in Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mary Fouraker, survivors include: daughter, Ann (Randy) Smith; son, Jim Fouraker; three grandchildren, Randy Smith, Travis Smith and Brian Smith; brother, Charles (Ruth) Fouraker; numerous extended family and friends. Those serving as pallbearers include: Randy Smith III, Travis Smith, Brian Smith, Doug Ledford, Wilbur Bell, Mike Lee, Peanut Fouraker and Freddie Smith. Honorary pallbearers include: Mickey Smith, Tommy Fouraker, Harold Stokes, Morgan Stokes, Roy Braddock and Dwight Braddock. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
