Funeral Services for Ellis David Padgett "Tody" (50) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastors L.A. Whitehead and Freddie Griffis officiating. The interment will follow in Nolan Ridge Cemetery. Tody was born December 13, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida son of the late Fred Padgett and the former Cornelia Nolan. He passed away June 18, 2009 following a brief illness. He is survived by: Three Sisters, Maude (Raymon) Miller, Levonia Ezell and Carolyn (Edwin) Higginbotham; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Friends. Those serving as pallbearers will include: Rodney Harris, Cody O'Brien, Mark Tucker, Pat O'Brien, Robby Lee and Johnny Smith. Those serving as honorary pallbearers include: Clayton Harris, Aaron Thomas, Russell Carter, Kent Williams, Bill Taylor and Zibo Thomas. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009 at the funeral home.
