Ella Mae Yarbrough

Mrs. Ella M. Yarbrough, age 88 of Baldwin, passed away June 23, 2021. A lifelong Baldwin resident, Mrs. Yarbrough was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Baldwin High School. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and a vacation bible school volunteer. Mrs. Yarbrough was a dedicated and loving mother. She loved spending time with her family and treasured time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Claudell (Gail) Yarbrough of Jacksonville, Ronald (Dorinda) Yarbrough of Jacksonville, Carlette (Billy) Hightower of Brandon, Allan (Anne) Yarbrough of Forest City, NC, and Cynthia Jones of Baldwin; grandchildren: Tammy Cochran, Randall Yarbrough Jr, Mark Yarbrough, Lauren Yarbrough, Ashley Carlisle, Heather Williamson, Candace Fussell, Carl Yarbrough, Jordan Yarbrough, Cole Stringer and 12 great grandchildren; and brother: David (Linda) McGlashan of Spring City, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Carlton Yarbrough; son, Randall Yarbrough Sr.; grandson, Josh Yarbrough; parents: Vivian and Vera Mae McGlashan; brother, Aldric McGlashan; and sister, Sybil Ryals. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Dewayne Jowers officiating. Interment will follow the service at Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville.
