Funeral Services for Elizabeth Cevila Burns Duncan (55) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Brother Gerald Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Mrs. Duncan was born on November 4, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late Frederick J. Burns and the former Cevila Mathis. She passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. In addition to her husband of over 40 years, Levi Duncan, survivors include: Two Daughters, Merintha Lynn DeVoyd and Lora (Michael) Hollingsworth; Two Brothers, Buddy and Alvin Burns; Sister, Darlene Atamone; Nine Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosa Jane Ferrell.
