Funeral services for Edward "Eddie" Davis, Jr. (52) of Anniston, Alabama will be held 1 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010 at Old Plank Road Baptist Church with Brother Ken Davis, officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Dyal Cemetery, Lawtey, Florida. Mr. Davis was born, May 13, 1957, son of the late Edward Wash Davis, Sr. and the former Eunice Lee Jackson in Jacksonville, Florida. He passed away March 28, 2010 following a brief illness. Mr. Davis was a native and long time resident of Florida. He was a U.S. ARMY veteran and the owner/operator of Ed Davis Tile and Marble. He is survived by: mother, Eunice Davis; daughter, Rebecca Davis; brother, Ken (Michelle) Davis; sister, Cathy (Randy) Stone; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Those serving as pallbearers include: Ben Davis, Jeff Davis, Buddy Davis, Randy Stone, Jason Stone and Phil McLaughlin. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 6-8 pm in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
