Dorris Evelyn Green

Ms. Dorris E. Green, age 82 of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021.  She was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Mitchell and Iris (Browning) Watson. Ms. Green was a homemaker and an awesome cook. She loved her family and was devoted to her grandchildren and her cat, Buttons. She enjoyed camping with her late husband and sitting in her favorite rocking chair on her front porch. She is survived by her daughters: Vesta (Chris) Wood of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Charlotte Green of Baldwin; grandchildren: Christian Wood and Kaitlin Wood of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother: Lavern (Mary) Watson of Baldwin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Thomas Green; sisters: Joann Erlandson, Agnes Mabry, and Thelma Jones; and brothers: Mitchell Watson and Marvin Watson.
