UPTON – Funeral services for Dorothy "Dottie" Dickens Upton (77) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Prestwood Funeral Home with Brother Gill Witcher officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service. Mrs. Upton was born January 2, 1930 in Rockingham, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Richard William Dickens and the former Doris Smith. She passed away June 18, 2007 following a brief illness. Survivors Include: Four Daughters, Christine Upton, Virginia (John) Spisak, Georgia Parrish and Penny (Moses) Seymour; Son, Justin (Alcine) Upton; Twenty One Grandchildren and Twenty Eight Great Grandchildren.
