Graveside services for Dolphus Bell (88) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Sellers Cemetery with Pastor Arlie Johns officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. Mr. Bell was born on June 9, 1922 in Jacksonville, Florida, son of the late John Sherman Bell and the former Roma Sellers. He passed away on April 4, 2011 in Callahan, Florida. In addition to his wife of 66 years, Olga Bell, his survivors include: daughter, Brenda (Ken) Macy; granddaughter, Melanie (Tim) Jensen; two grandsons, Kenny Macy, Jr. and Donnie (Dina) Macy; seven grandchildren, Tabetha, Brooke, Donald, Zachary, Montana, Dalton and Skyla, two sisters, Alean Hall and Eva (Eugene) Johnson, brother, Cyrus B. Higginbotham; numerous extended family and friends.
