Funeral Services for Delores Marcia Newsom (76) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. The interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2009 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Newsom was born December 24, 1932 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late David Daniel Pickett and the former Helen Peterson. She passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in Jacksonville, Florida following a lengthy illness. She is survived by: Daughter, Debbie (Nathan "N.H.") Boyd; Two Sons, Keith Newsom and Scott (Erica) Newsom; Three Grandsons, Nathan "J.R." (Lakin) Boyd, Stone Newsom and Baylor Newsom; Three Granddaughters, Angela (Mike) Ricks, Tori (Kyle) Jones and Kimberly Newsom; Great Granddaughter, Haley Boyd; Two Brothers, Ronald Pickett and Gary Pickett; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by Granddaughter, Christy Leigh Boyd.
