Biography
Memorial services for David John De May, Sr. (72) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with pastor Larry McGinley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Mr. De May was born on August 1, 1938 in Rochester, New York, son of the late Lester Jacob De May and the former Marion Gaskin. He passed away on January 2, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida. His survivors include: three daughters, Diana (James) Schrader, Linda (Ronnie) Price and Michelle (Billy) Avery; two sons, Bobby De May and David (Becky) De May, Jr.; nine grandchildren, Tonjya Price, Ronnie Price Jr., Jimmy (Michelle) Schrader, David De May III, Samantha Schrader, Daniel De May, Brittany Embree, Allison Embree and Dillion De May; sister, Maggie (Joe) Clement; numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara De May.
