Funeral Services for Daniel "Danny" Gomez, Jr. (31) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Cody Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Gomez was born November 30, 1976 in Castro Valley, California, son of Daniel Gomez, Sr. and the former Margarita DeAnda. He passed away on November 15, 2008 following injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. In addition to his Parents, he is survived by: Son, Daniel Gomez; Brother, Manuel Gomez; Sister, Desiree Gomez; Grandparents, Bertoldo (Ermalinda) Gomez; Two Nieces, Isabella Gomez-Montez and Hailey Gomez; Numerous, Uncles, Aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Amador (Rita) DeAnda. The interment will be taking place in Hayward, California at a later date.
