Memorial Services for Dane Ellis Bentley (50) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Brother Jed Carnes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Mr. Bentley was born April 11, 1958 in Roanoke, Virginia, son of the late Hubert Bentley and the former Helen Simons. He passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 in Gainesville, Florida following a lengthy illness. In addition to his mother, Helen Lumbo, he is survived by: Daughter, Holly (Johnny) Bentley; Grandson, L.J. Johnson, III; Sister, Debra Bentley; Two Brothers, Reynaldo Lumbo and Harvey Bentley; Special Friend, Nancy Frye.
