Funeral services for Cynthia L. White (56) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 5, 2013 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Noel Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery. Cynthia was born November 20, 1957, daughter of David W. Hayes and Rena I. Strickland. She passed away November 30, 2013 following a lengthy illness. She retired as a long haul Truck Driver. She was a very compassionate and loving individual who always thought of others first. She was loved by all. In addition to her parents, survivors include, her husband of 34 years Preston F. White; 3 brothers, Frank J. Hayes (Donna), David D. Hayes, and Bryan K. Hayes (Delene). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Rena White.
