Biography
Graveside services for Crill Geneva Mercer (85) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 in South Prong Cemetery, with Pastor Lee Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Mercer was born on August 7, 1926 in Baker County, Florida, daughter of the late Arthur Newmans and the former Minnie Shepard. She passed away on October 18, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by: two sons, Ronald (Sandra) Mercer and Larry Mercer; two daughters; Geneva Higginbotham and Linda (Howell) Fulford; fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and family. There will be a reception at the Baldwin Community Center, immediately following the service.
