Funeral services for Courtney Elizabeth Hendrix (16) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Fuller of Lake Shore United Methodist, officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Hendrix was born June 29, 1993 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late Jerry Daniel Hendrix and the former Kathryn Cook. She passed away from injuries sustained in a vehicular collision. She is survived by: parents, Kathy (Scott) Beninati; five brothers, Brandon (Bridgette) Beninati, Kyle Hendrix, Clint Hendrix, Nick (Courtney) Beninati and Michael Beninati; sister, Heather Beninati; grandparents, Ernest (Annette) Cook, Anthony (Judy) Beninati and Anna Hendrix; numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by: father, Jerry Daniel Hendrix and grandparents Warren (Norma) Hendrix. Those serving as pallbearers include: Kyle Hendrix, Clint Hendrix, Nick Beninati, Michael Beninati, Brandon Beninati and Jeff Anderson. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the funeral home.
