Clyde Morris "Mac" Johnson Jr.

Mr. Clyde Morris "Mac" Johnson Jr., age 60 of Jacksonville, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021. A Jacksonville native, Mr. Johnson was born to the late Clyde Morris and Patricia Kirkland Johnson Sr. He grew up attending and playing baseball at Baldwin Senior and Ed White High Schools. Mr. Johnson was a roofer and carpenter most of his life. He loved spending time outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with friends. He was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his son: Morris "Grasshopper" Johnson of Jacksonville, grandchildren: Chase, Christy, Michael, and Destiny; sister: Jeannie (Tony) Cates of Jacksonville; brother: Wayne Johnson of Jacksonville, and his beloved dog: Precious. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter: Christy Johnson. Funeral services are pending.
