Obituary

Christopher Adam Crews, 58, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on September 30, 1967, to the late Lawrence David "L.D." Crews and Chiquita Marie Rhoden, Adam was raised on the Westside of Jacksonville, a place that always remained close to his heart. Throughout his life, he built lasting friendships, worked tirelessly, and left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Adam spent his life working hard and providing for those he loved. Over the years, he held many different jobs, embracing every opportunity with determination and grit. At the time of his passing, he proudly served as President of WTI Critical Solutions Group, a role that reflected his leadership, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Those who knew Adam will remember him for his enormous heart, quick sense of humor, and unmistakable stubborn streak. He had a gift for making people laugh, never hesitated to help someone in need, and remained fiercely loyal to the people he loved. His family was the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, friends, and the many animals he cared for throughout his life.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his loving children, Christopher Joseph Michael "C.J." Crews (Steffanie), Cody Lee Crews (Brandee), and Kirstin Alexis Crews; his four beloved grandchildren, Kipton Crews, Millie Crews, Raulerson Crews, and Calissa Crews, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy and pride; and numerous extended family and friends.

Adam’s legacy is one of love, resilience, laughter, and devotion to those around him. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his stories, his humor, and the countless memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his love, laughter, and spirit will remain with us always.
