CAY- Funeral services for Charlotte Faye Cay (74) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Rev. Michael A. Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mrs. Cay was born on February 25, 1943, daughter of the late Jimmy Batton and the former Christine Bennett. She passed away on June 21, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Cay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, as well as a loving friend to many people who knew her. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, crafts and antique shopping. She also owned and operated Charlotte's Bistro in Starke, Florida for a few years. But more than anything she loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her husband of 33 years, Phillip Wayne Cay, survivors include: daughters, Christy Renee Trainer(Mark) and Tammy Lynn Froese; sons, David Scott Cribbs, Armister Clay Mynes Jr.(Sonya) and Jeffrey Allen Mynes(Lisa); 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
