SIMPSON - Funeral Services for Charlie Wilson Simpson (50) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2008 at Old Plank Road Baptist Church (8964 Old Plank Road) with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Charlie was born June 9, 1958, in Appling County, GA, son of the late Dedos Simpson and the former Ruthie Mae Brown. He passed away August 11, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. Survivors Include: Three Brothers, Dedos, Shelly and Terry Simpson; Three Sisters, Genevive Howard, Betty Copeland and Shirley (Charles) Scott; Two Aunts, Evelyn (James) Gerald and Pearlie Mae Simpson; Old Plank Road Baptist Church Family; Host of Friends and Family.
