Charles Lindsey, Sr

Graveside services for Charles Madison Lindsey, Sr. (77) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ron Barnett officiating. Mr. Lindsey was born July, 2, 1936 in Montgomery, Alabama, son of the late Charles Lindsey and the former Beulah Rotta. He passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Lucille Baker Lindsey and son-in-law, Thomas Jackson. He is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Overturf and Victoria Jackson; son, Charles (Robin) Lindsey, Jr.; 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2013 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
