Ms. Charlene was born on February 1, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida, daughter of the late Charles Harris Hughes and the former Carolyn Gail Mulkey. She passed away on January 20, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. Survivors include her spouse of many years, Eddie Brown; daughters, Cynthia Dotson and Debra Dotson; sons, Donovan Brown and Michael Brown; grandchildren, Kirsty Brown and Michael Brown; four brothers and three sisters; many nieces and nephews; numerous extended family and friends.
