Memorial services for "Buddy" Ellis H. Rhoden (71) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 7 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home with Pastor Micah Strickland. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Buddy was born on November 7, 1939 in Glenn St. Mary, Fl, son of the late James Hampton Rhoden and the former Ethel Fewox. He passed away on September 22, 2011 at his home, in the loving arms of his family, following a lengthy illness. He was retired from the city of Jacksonville and was a small business owner. In addition to his wife of (51 years), Maryann Rhoden, survivors include: son, Ed (Laura) Rhoden; daughter, Leslie (Dave) Rhoden; two granddaughters, Taylr and Miranda; grandson, Garrett; numerous family and friends.
