Bonnie Ann Sullivan (85) of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on December 19, 2014 following a lengthy illness. Bonnie was born on January 13, 1929 in Kane, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Clair G. Brink and the former Anna V. Healy. She was pre-deceased by: husband of 62 years James E. Sullivan, two brothers (Clair Jr. and Tom Brink) and a grandson, Kevin Sullivan. She is survived by: four sons, James (Kathryn) Sullivan Jr., Stephen (Sarah) Sullivan, Paul (Mary Margaret) Sullivan and Shawn Sullivan; two daughters, Debra Casey and Ann Sullivan; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Toko; numerous extended family and friends. Bonnie was a graduate of the 1946 class of Bradford (Pa.) High School. After raising 6 children, she graduated from St. Francis (Olean, NY) School of Nursing in 1970 where she continued to work until 1979 when she moved to Jacksonville. She worked as a LPN charge nurse at River Garden Hebrew Home and then at Riverside Hospital until her retirement in 1988. After retirement, she spent many years as a volunteer at St. Catherine's Laboure' Manor and All Saints Nursing Home. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be held at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church located at 8523 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210. The mass will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 7 pm with Dr. Timothy Lozier officiating. A memorial mass and burial service will be held at St. Raphael's Cemetery at a later date in Eldred, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be mailed to The Kevin Sullivan Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 109, Eldred, PA 16731 or to the charity of your choice.
