Biography
Funeral services for Beverly Nell Myers (65) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 12 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Maxville (8635 Maxville Blvd.) with Pastor Earnest Tatham officiating. The interment will immediately follow in the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Road). Mrs. Myers was born February 5, 1943 in Graves County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Earnest Lee Murrell and the former Sylvia Crystell Watts. She passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on January 29, 2009 following a lengthy illness. In addition to her Husband of 49 years, Chester Myers, she is survived by: Two Daughters, Debbie (Gerald) Taylor and Rhonda (Jeff) Smith; Son, Spencer (Candy) Myers; Three Sisters, Mary Lee Swift, Sylvia Altgilbers and Trease Dalton; Brother, Richard Purcell; Eight Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Son, Gregory Scott Myers. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, February 1, 2009 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
