Beulah Higginbotham

Funeral services for Beulah A. Higginbotham (90) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with pastor Donnie Williams and pastor David Adair. The interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mrs. Higginbotham was born on November 15, 1921 in Bainbridge, Georgia, daughter of the late Davenport Eagerton of Bainbridge, Georgia and the former Angele Dulin of Paris, France. She passed away on May 17, 2012 following a brief illness. She is survived by: son, James (Peggy) Higginbotham; three daughters, Patricia Crews, Janet (Willie) Nobles and Cheryl (Doyle) Smith; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grand children, five great great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Woodrow W. Higginbotham; four brothers, T.D. Eagerton, Calamese Revere Eagerton, W.T. "Dub" Eagerton and Charlie Eli Eagerton; sister Floree Tatum. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She served her Lord faithfully and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church Macclenny, Florida. She was presently attending Blanding Blvd. Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
