Betty Mosley

Funeral services for Betty Jane Mosley (84) of Jacksonville, Florida will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at Long Branch Baptist Church with pastor Bill McLeod officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Long Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Mosley was born on May 16, 1928 in LaCrosse, Virginia, daughter of the late Stanton Gilbert Wardell and the former Ann Ponder. She passed away on October 23, 2012. She is survived by: three daughters, Brenda (Wayne) Johns, Valarie (Bo) Padgett and Beth (Tommy) Owens; eight grandchildren, Jamey Dye, Tiffani Harris, Mark (Jamie) Johns, Justin (Christy) Johns, Darrell (Ashley) Padgett, Deanna (Josh) Morrison, Ashley (Cody) Johnson and Tyler (Nichole) Owens; fourteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by: husband of sixty years, George A Mosley; daughter, Dewbra Mosley Dye; great granddaughter Kaylor Padgett.
