BOYD - Funeral services for Bailey Cryton Boyd (76) of Bryceville, Florida will be held 11 am, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Bryceville (301 North and Church Street, Bryceville Florida) with Rev. Terry Yerby and Rev. James Conner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will immediately follow in Verdie Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida, where he will be laid to rest with his first wife, Jeanette Boyd, who passed away in 2015. Mr. Boyd was born October 27, 1941 in Callahan, Florida the son of Bailey Mancil Boyd and the former Nellie Blount. Mr. Boyd passed away on February 5, 2018 following a brief illness. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryceville. He leaves behind: (2) sons, David Boyd of Yulee, Florida and Richard Boyd of Yulee, Florida; sister, Mary (Bobby) Goolsby of Palm Beach, Florida; brother Jimmy (Terri) Boyd of Callahan, Florida; (6) grandchildren, RJ, Gabrielle, Taylor, Lisa, Adam and Clay; (4) great-grandchildren, Aubree, Hayden, Haislynn and Brooklynn. Those serving as pallbearers include: Clay Boyd, RJ Boyd, Adam Boyd, Rodney Harris, Glen Karst and Kenny McCollough. Honorary pallbearers include: Judge Johnny Crews and Louie Shortridge.
