Funeral Services for Annabell Ambrose Stephens (83) of Baldwin, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Orange Park, Florida. Mrs. Stephens was born February 17, 1925 in Athena, Florida to the late Jacob Guy Ambrose and the former Bertha Lee Howell. She passed away December 7, 2008 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Morgan W. Stephens, son, Andrew Lee Stephens, Two Sisters, Ellen Ambrose and Leila Millinor and Three Brothers, Benjamin Ambrose, James "Bob" Ambrose and Alvin "Happy" Ambrose. She is survived by: Two Sons, Joel Morgan Stephens, Sr. (Diana) and Daniel Guy Stephens, Sr. (Sandra); Three Grandsons, Daniel, Morgan (Carrie) and Aaron; Three Granddaughters, Leigh, Elizabeth and Cara (Mark); Nine Great Grandchildren; Two Sisters, Lily Harrington and Sally (Brad) Manning; Brother, Alton Ambrose; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Serving as Pallbearers: R. Vance Prestwood, Sr., Tim Rigdon, Lee Pittman, Guy Ambrose, Brad Chessman and David Ryan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home.
