Funeral Services for Allen "Hugh" Rowe (69) of Middleburg, Florida will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Baldwin, Florida with Rev. Chris Drum officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville, Florida. Mr. Rowe was born, October 16, 1939 in Bryceville, Florida, son of the late Emory Allan Rowe and the former Eula Hicks. He passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. Mr. Rowe was Vice-President of Wood Preserving Sales for Langdale Forest Products and a member of the First Baptist Church of Baldwin, Florida. In addition to his wife of 50 years, Clydia Rowe, he is survived by: Two Daughters, Teresa (Richard) Trew and Belinda (Rick) Anderson; Grandson, Greg Trew; Three Granddaughters, Lindsey (Brooks) West, Melissa (Mitch) Traylor and Taylor Anderson; Great Grandson, Cohyn Taylor; Five Sisters, Edry Surrency, Marjorie (Ed) O'Dwyer, Jean (Floyd) Fields, Joyce (Butch) Metcalfe and Beu (Randy) Thompson; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Serving as Pallbearers: Craig Fields, David Fields, Jimmy Wilson, Jim Langdale, Jim Hickman and Joe Singley. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2008 in the chapel of Prestwood Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, in his memory.
