Linda Carol Eggers

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Linda Carol Eggers, who left this world on November 5, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 62.

Linda was born on August 20, 1963, in Whitehouse, Florida, to the late Frank and Margaret Rogers. The youngest of three children, she grew up alongside her brothers, Russ and Vic Rogers, forming bonds shaped by family, small-town roots, and a warm Southern upbringing.

A graduate of Baldwin High School, Linda went on to build a longstanding career with Prudential, where she spent most of her working years. She made Jacksonville her lifelong home—a place where she raised her family, built friendships, and created countless memories. In her younger years, Linda found joy by the water, often spending sunny days along the shores of St. Augustine or Clearwater Beach.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Rogers; her brother, Russ Rogers; and Donnie Simmons, her former husband and the father of her children.

She is survived by her three children, Wade Simmons (Gemma), Erica Preble (Ashton), and Rachel Simmons (Scott); as well as her five adored grandchildren, Emmitt, Frances, Charlotte, Scotty, and Miller.
